Union Station

Of course Austin had a blast!!!
they also had these little model trains set up and of course Austin had to fallow all of them but they were up to high for Austin to see so Bryan had to carry him back and forth as they chased the trains. Austin had so much fun it was well worth daddy getting all tuckered out!! :)
if you know our boy at all you would understand that a train museum is way cool well at first hes a little nervous because they are real trains but after a while he relaxes and has fun cause he LOVES trains!!

While playing in the window seat austin found himself a little boxedler bug. he was so fascinated by the little bug. he just sat there for a while studying every inch of it his favorite part was the bugs little red eyes. then lunch time came around no he didn't leave it in the window seat or put it in a jar, no austin brought it to the table to each lunch with him, it almost got squished by his cup a few times but the little bug made it through okay. he even sat it on the laptop while he was playing nick jr. games the little bug just crawled around on the keyboard while austin played. Austin even let it just crawl all over him while he was walking around what a little boy he is.He sure loves his bugs.

For valentines this year Austin and i decorated the entryway with tons of hearts and one big giant valentines card for daddy for when he got home from work. it's the same thing i did about three years ago when i was prego with Austin except i did our whole front room . we would have did the whole front room also but i don't have as much energy this time around but Austin was such a good little helper sticking all of the hearts on the wall and decorating the table cause we love our daddy!!! there was no fancy dinner cause daddy had to work maybe Monday when Bryan is actually home i will attempt to fix something. but Austin and i enjoyed our grilled cheese with raspberry soda i don't think Austin would have had it any other way! We did make some sugar cookies and Austin made the cutest cookies and we took them around to his cousins houses he was so proud but was very picky when deciding who got which cookie he kept saying we can keep some for us to mom they don't need all of them. so i made another batch of thumb print cookies with cherry cream kisses in the middle he was willing to let those go but not his blue sprinkle valentine cookies he's such a funny kid :) Austin also got to take valentines to his class to day they were cars valentines of course he's so obsessed with cars and the land before time. of course he wanted to keep one of each kind for himself but i had to keep explaining to him that he would get valentines back and that he didn't need to keep all of his. And after a long day of playing and delivering valentines he finally got to dig into his valentine bag from school. and yes he's my boy he ate almost all of his candy in one sitting. ne ways HAPPY VALENTINES DAY !!!

snow snow go away come again another day!!

summer daze

I know all of this snow has been just wonderfull and we needed it so badly but today in hopes that we could possibly make spring come just a little sooner, Austin and I wore our flip fops and plan to wear them as much as possible because even austin has been cursing the snow!! he just wants spring to be here!!! so he can ride his bike and go on walks and play soccer and baseball but most of all he wants to go to the beach! i can't blame him it seems like all we have had for so long is nothing but gloomy days filled with snow, wind and freezing temps. but today was so wonderfuly warm and sunny and the birds werer chirping we just had to dust off our flip flops and wear them around all day call us crazy but all we want is the snow to go away it was fun for awhile but we are ready for the warm sunny days of spring the green grass and the pretty flowers.
