We are in desperate need of some ideas on how to get out little guy to take his medicine. we tried adding just a little bit of juice to it in a cup but he only tried that once and refuses to take it again. i am so frustrated i want him to get better and i hate getting mad at him cause he won't take his medicine i can't stand the screaming he is so stubborn i don't know what else to do. so right now he is sitting in his room on his bed until he is ready to take his medicine he will probably sit there all day. any suggestions

Oh man heather thats tough. Maybe try giving it to him in a syringe so he won't taste it as much and it will be over sooner. Just stick it in the back of his cheek. Hmmmm really don't know. If I think of anything I'll get back to you. Good luck though.
You have probably already tryed this but really try talking him through it. Remind him how miserable he has been and let him know that if he doesn't take his medicine he will get sick again.
Poor little guy. Toncilitus is totally no fun at all! I feel so bad for him. Good luck with the medication. My kids hate meds too and it always seems like a fight... I hope he gets better soon!
put it in some really chocolaty ice cream and make little shakes it would be good for his throat too. Put it in little cups and cut up straws into little straws. yum!!!!
Well obviously I don't have any first hand mom practice on this yet, but I say bribery always works or what was it Mary Poppins would say... "A spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down"?!?!?!
