My little fry and me he makes it all worth it!!

Why do athletes always look into the camera and say, "Hi, Mom"? Why are florists working overtime every Mother's Day? Why do people always thank their mother when they receive an award? Because behind any successful and happy person, chances are good that you'll find a great mom! Enjoy these quotes on the joys of motherhood and the inspiration that moms give their kids.

A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity. It dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path.-- Agatha Christie (1890-1976), English novelist and playwright.

When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. You are connected to your child and to all those who touch your lives. A mother always has to think twice: once of herself and once for her child.-- Sophia Loren (1934- ), Italian motion-picture actor.

A mother's arms are more comforting than anyone else's.-- Princess Diana (1961-1997), Princess of Wales from 1981 to 1997.

There never was a woman like her. She was gentle as a dove and brave as a lioness. The memory of my mother and her teachings were, after all, the only capital I had to start life with, and on that capital I have made my way.-- Andrew Jackson (1767-1845), seventh president of the United States (1829-1837).

When a child enters the world through you it alters everything on a psychic, psychological and purely practical level.-- Jane Fonda

If you bungle raising your children, I don't think whatever else you do well matters very much.-- Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis (1929-1994),

It is not until you become a mother that your judgment slowly turns to compassion and understanding.-- Erma Bombeck (1927-1996), .

Motherhood has a very humanizing effect. Everything gets reduced to essentials.-- Meryl Streep
The strength of motherhood is greater than natural laws.-- Barbara Kingsolver (1955- ), American author.

We are in desperate need of some ideas on how to get out little guy to take his medicine. we tried adding just a little bit of juice to it in a cup but he only tried that once and refuses to take it again. i am so frustrated i want him to get better and i hate getting mad at him cause he won't take his medicine i can't stand the screaming he is so stubborn i don't know what else to do. so right now he is sitting in his room on his bed until he is ready to take his medicine he will probably sit there all day. any suggestions

The saddest story ever ......
so yesterday was austin's birthday and he had been counting down the days for almost 2 months we had been planning his party for 2 months as well. he was so excited he couldn't wait to have his very own special day i was really excited for his birthday as well cause he understood it and he was excited. finnally it got down to just a week so we made him some pre birthday plans he got to go sleep over at grandma sealy's house he had been begging for ever to sleep over and finnaly he got to grandma took him, his cousins and his two uncles bowling and they played trains trains and more trains, and tons of other stuff. when we went to pick him up to take him home the minute i saw him i just knew something was wrong he was sniffling and well he didn't put up much of a fight when it was time to go home he actually asked can we go home know? he didn't throw a fit of hide behind the couch or run away or anything i knew right then and there something was wrong. The next morning, his birthday he woke up with a fever and just wanted to lay in bed he took lots of naps and lots of medicine he just wasn't our normal little fry it was so sad. he did wake up once and say mom i'm only alittle bit sick can i open my presents now. after that there was no way we could have canceled his party he had been looking forward to it for so long it would just break his little heart. so we let him sleep on and off until every one arrived. when he saw all of his cousins he got a little energy and a smile on his face but he was still so quiet and sad looking. after the party he was pooped so we gave him some meds and off to sleep land he went. then today he wasn't talking cause it hurt and said his ear hurt so i decided to take him to the doctor he was so brave and there was no crying except for mommy when she found out her littl guy had tonsillitis and a really bad earinfection. my poor guy had been in so much pain but that wasn't gonna get in the way of his birthday. we did take pics but i will put them on later.

playing soccer

Playing Soccer

Austin stealing the ball from dad

Austin trying out his drop kicking skills

austin scoring a goal

austin and uncle jared getting more power in their shoes

This last Saturday we went to the park so Austin could play some soccer with his two uncles. he was so excited we had to wait a bit before they got there and that drove him nuts he just wanted to play some soccer. finally they got to the park and after they showed him some cool moves everyone (well minus the pregers lady) decided to play a game of soccer. Austin was so cute trying so hard to keep up with everyone and he wouldn't admit that he was tired and needed a little break so instead he would just sit down for a minute and say he needed to rest his shoes so he could have more power. he looks up to his uncles so much and Bryan and i are so greatfull that they are so good with him and include him in things and make him feel important to.
Baby Animal Days
Josh and Jessica invited us to go with them to baby animal days at the Jensen historical farm. austin would have stayed there all day but all of that walking around just wore me out. but it was lost of fun for austin we might just have to do it again.

Austin holding a baby turtle
he also played a game and won a little tiny speckled frog he named him dolphy
They shot candy out of a cannon for all of the little kids Austin (with the help of aunt Jessica cause his mom is to big to run and bend down for candy) collected a hatfull of candy
He thought this little tractor sand diggin thing was really cool we had to wait in line to try it out
Aunt Jessica and Bridget looking at the baby bunnies
Uncle Josh and Austin petting a little bunny
